BIA Appeals


The Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) is the highest administrative body for interpreting and applying immigration laws. The BIA, which is located in Falls Church, Virginia, decides appeals by a paper review of cases. It has nationwide jurisdiction to hear appeals rendered by Immigration Judges and District Directors of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Only licensed attorneys or BIA certified representatives can represent those who submit an appeal to the BIA. Law Offices of Ashwani K.
